How trim?

Time - min:sec, for example 01:25. You can also specify hours:minutes:seconds.

The video is re-encoded for precise trimming. MP4 is saved as MP4 (H.264), AVI is saved as AVI (MPEG-4 and uncompressed audio), MPG/MPEG is saved as MPEG. The AVI file may be larger due to uncompressed audio.

Possibilities of video cutter

  • Input formats: AVI, MPG, MPEG and MP4; maximum file size is 250 MB.
  • Crop mode takes seconds, including tenths.
  • Fine range mode takes min:sec or hours:minutes:seconds.
  • The result is saved in the source container: AVI (MPEG-4 with uncompressed audio), MP4 (H.264), or MPEG.

Do not close the page while transcoding. The finished video can be downloaded to your computer.

How to trim a video

  1. Select an AVI, MPG, MPEG, or MP4 file up to 250 MB in size. Format and content are verified before processing.
  2. In normal mode, leave the edge trimming and set the seconds to be removed at the beginning and end.
  3. In full mode, select the exact range. Enter min:sec, for example 01:25, or hours:minutes:seconds.
  4. Click “Cut and Download”. Video is transcoded to AVI, MP4 or MPEG; Do not close the page until processing is complete.
  5. The first run may take longer than subsequent ones.

Simplified mode hides the exact range selection and leaves the beginning and end trimmed. Switching does not reload the page.
