Characters are counted as Unicode graphemes. The “Without spaces” count excludes whitespace, including tabs and line breaks.

02 / UNIX TIMESTAMP

Date and time conversion

Convert UNIX times and dates line by line. Seconds, milliseconds, ISO dates with time zone and dates without time zone are supported.

Date and time

Numbers in in the “Automatic” mode, milliseconds are considered if their module is not less than 100,000,000,000; otherwise - seconds. Dates are accepted in the format YYYY-MM-DD, with optional time and time zone. Translation in UNIX takes into account daylight saving time transitions of the selected zone.

Unicode codes and UNIX times in one online tool

The converter helps convert special characters, emoji and text fragments into common Unicode representations, as well as parse Unix timestamp or get it from date. It supports processing multiple values by row, so you don't have to manually convert one at a time.

  • Encoding and decoding in HTML decimal and hexadecimal entities.
  • Representation of UTF-16 hexadecimal and decimal characters, C/C++ escapes and Unicode code points.
  • Customizable separators, prefixes and suffixes; character filtering and line feed encoding.
  • Convert UNIX timestamp in seconds or milliseconds to date and convert back.
  • Device time zones, UTC, and custom IANA zones; checking calendar dates and time transitions.
  • Copy and download results, detailed line errors and summary text statistics.

Text modes are Unicode oriented and correctly handle Cyrillic, English, and characters outside the basic multilingual plane, including emoji.
