JavaScript deobfuscator and code beautifier
Make minified or supported obfuscated JavaScript easier to inspect. Run local formatting and static decoding for common string-table, URL-encoded, and Dean Edwards Packer patterns.
Paste code or open a local .js, .mjs, or .cjs file. All processing runs in your browser. The tool treats the source as text: it does not execute the submitted script or upload it to a server.

ABOUT THIS TOOL
JavaScript deobfuscator features
Use the tool to inspect minified source and try safe, static recovery steps for common JavaScript obfuscation wrappers. It can also join adjacent string fragments commonly produced by string-splitting options. It is intended for code review and troubleshooting, not as a guarantee of recovering the original source.
- Format compact JavaScript with local JS Beautifier for easier reading.
- Recognize and unpack supported Dean Edwards Packer wrappers without evaluating their code.
- Statically expand string arrays and common JavaScript Obfuscator Base64 / RC4 lookups when their decoder and arguments are constant.
- Join adjacent quoted string fragments such as "Calculation " + "finished" without executing the source.
- Decode URL-encoded source, hexadecimal escapes, Unicode escapes, and literal character-code calls.
- Paste code or open a UTF-8 / Windows-1251 .js, .mjs, or .cjs file up to 1 MB; copy or download the result.
- Processing happens in a local Web Worker. Source is not executed, transmitted, or saved by the tool.
Review the result before using it
Complex, customized, encrypted, self-modifying, or newer obfuscation formats may remain unreadable or be transformed only partly. The tool does not restore original names, formatting, or comments, and there is no guarantee that the result is equivalent to the original program.
