DEVELOPER'S CALCULATION KIT
Developer calculators and coding utilities
Convert number bases, calculate bit and memory values, inspect IP/CIDR ranges, work with Unix timestamps, and review encoding and type limits.
Choose a calculator, enter a value, and copy the result. The page includes guidance for each calculation.
NUMBERS AND BITS
Number systems and place value
Enter an integer in decimal, binary (0b), octal (0o) or hexadecimal (0x) form. Large values are processed without loss of precision.
Bit operations
Calculations are limited by the selected bit depth.
————————MEMORY AND SPEED
Data volume and transfer time
Separate SI decimal units (KB = 1000 bytes) and IEC binary units (KiB = 1024 bytes). Network speed is specified in bits/sec or bytes/sec explicitly.
Translation of volume
Memory and data transfer units.
Transfer Time Estimate
Theoretical assessment without taking into account protocol overheads expenses.
NET
IPv4 / IPv6 and CIDR
Enter the address and network prefix. The calculator shows subnet boundaries and checks special cases IPv4 /31, /32 and IPv6 without a broadcast address.
IPv4
For example, 192.168.1.10 / 24
IPv6
Compressed or full record, for example 2001:db8::1 / 64
DATE AND TIME
Unix timestamp, time zones and durations
Display timestamp in seconds or milliseconds. The time zone only applies to the display; Unix value is always based on UTC.
Timestamp → date
Auto-detection of unit available as a hint.
Date → timestamp
Takes into account the rules of the selected time zone, including seasonal shift.
Duration converter
Unit recalculation and compact entry.
ENCODINGS
Text, UTF‑8, URL, Base64 and hex
All conversions support Unicode, including Cyrillic and emoji. UTF-8 is an encoding of characters into bytes, not a form of text in itself.
Text → views
View → text
Insert the encoded value and select the format.
NUMERICAL LIMITS
Types, overflow and float precision
Dimensions of C/C++ types depend on the ABI and compiler. The profiles below are common data models and not a guarantee for each platform.
| Type | Size | Bit depth | Range / precision |
|---|
Check integer value
Specific type range based on selected ABI.
IEEE 754 and JavaScript Accuracy
Shows rounding to float32/float64 and float32 bits.
Calculator capabilities for developers
- Convert integers between bases and check signed/unsigned bitness.
- Bit masks, shifts, endian representation, memory calculations and transmission time estimation.
- Calculation of IPv4/IPv6 CIDR, subnet boundaries, timestamp, dates, time zones and durations.
- Converting text to Base64, URL, UTF‑8, hex and JSON escapes; decoding supported formats.
- Checking ranges of C/C++ types with ABI selection and analysis of IEEE 754 float32/float64.
