An on-screen ruler that stays on top
Open the 0 to 30 cm or inch ruler in a separate floating window in a supported browser. For accuracy, calibrate the scale to the screen.
On-screen ruler helps you measure small objects near your monitor without a desktop program. The scale in centimeters and inches adjusts to the size of the window and is calibrated with a slider.
In supported desktop browsers, the ruler can be opened in a separate window; otherwise, the scale is displayed on the page.

On-screen capabilities and support rulers
Scale shows centimeters or inches. Calibrate it to the screen and, if necessary, adjust the floating window to the ruler.
- Click "Open floating window"; if a separate window is not available, the ruler will remain on the page.
- Floating mode works in supported desktop browsers; for other browsers, use the scale on the page.
- Calibration changes the scale of the scale and the size of the floating window. The window position is controlled by your system.
- If the window has changed width, click "Fit window to 30 cm."
- Switch between centimeters and inches, reset the calibration, or return the ruler to the page.
The floating window does not dock on top of other program windows.
