ENCRYPTION AND DECRYPTION
Encrypt text with AES-GCM
Protect a text message with password-based AES-GCM-256 encryption, or decrypt a compatible PXE1 message. Generate a random password in the same tool.
Encryption and decryption run in your browser. Keep your password: an encrypted message cannot be opened without it.
Encrypt or decrypt text
PASSWORD
Key for encryption
The password is case and space sensitive. To decrypt, use the same password.
Similar symbols 0/O and 1/I are excluded. The password contains at least one character from each selected set.
PXE1..Enter the text and select an action.
Text Encryption AES-GCM-256
The encrypted container contains a random salt, nonce and authentication data. A modified result or an incorrect password does not return partial plaintext.
- Encryption: AES‑GCM‑256 with key derivation from password via PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA-256.
- Decrypt: recovery of text from a full PXE1 container if the original password is available.
- Password generator: cryptographically random passwords of length 12–128 characters.
- Support for Unicode: Russian, English, other languages and Unicode symbols in one message.
- Local processing: encryption and decryption are performed by the browser on the device.
If you lose your password, it is impossible to decrypt the container. Keep the password separate from the ciphertext file.
