GRAPHING CALCULATOR

FUNCTIONS · GRAPHS · INTERCEPTS

Plot functions online

Visualize mathematical functions on an interactive coordinate plane. Enter an expression to update the graph instantly; your data stays in the browser.

Plot trigonometric, power, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Compare multiple curves, explore their behavior, and locate x- and y-axis intercepts. Pan and zoom to inspect any part of the coordinate plane.

Use the calculator for algebra, trigonometry, coursework, and engineering checks. Save the graph as PNG, export plotted values to CSV, or save a project to continue later.

Full mode is active: multiple functions, exact axis bounds, and data export are available.

How to enter functions

Operators and constants

+ − * / % ^, parentheses, x, pi, e, tau. You can omit the multiplication sign: 2x, 3sin(x), x(x+1).

Trigonometry

sin(x), cos(x), tan(x), asin(x), acos(x), atan(x). Choose radians or degrees in full mode.

Powers and logarithms

sqrt(x), cbrt(x), abs(x), exp(x), ln(x), log(x), log2(x). The log function uses base 10.

Additional functions

floor, ceil, round, sign, min, max, pow, hyperbolic functions sinh, cosh, tanh.

Roots and intercepts are estimated numerically in the visible range, so results for discontinuous functions may be approximate. Functions are undefined outside the real domain or at division by zero.

Frequently asked questions

What task is this page designed to handle?

Visualize mathematical functions on an interactive coordinate plane. Enter an expression to update the graph instantly; your data stays in the browser. Plot trigonometric, power, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Compare multiple curves, explore their behavior, and locate x- and y-axis intercepts. Pan and zoom to inspect any part of the coordinate plane.

Which features and modes are available?

Plot trigonometric, power, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Compare multiple curves, explore their behavior, and locate x- and y-axis intercepts. Pan and zoom to inspect any part of the coordinate plane. Plot trigonometric, power, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Compare curves, find axis intercepts, zoom, pan, and export graphs or data locally.

What data should I enter?

Choose the source file with the file picker. Fill in any additional fields before starting the operation.

Which options can change the result?

Available controls include: Choose a function to add, Coordinate plane bounds, X min, X max, Y min. They change the operation or output; adjust the options you need before running it again.

How do I choose the right mode?

Plot trigonometric, power, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Compare multiple curves, explore their behavior, and locate x- and y-axis intercepts. Pan and zoom to inspect any part of the coordinate plane. Plot trigonometric, power, logarithmic, and exponential functions. Compare curves, find axis intercepts, zoom, pan, and export graphs or data locally.

How do I run the operation?

Enter the source data, choose the relevant options, and select “Apply bounds”. If the button remains unavailable, check required fields and the current mode.

Where can I review the result?

The result appears in the output area on this page after the operation completes. Compare it with your source and check the chosen settings before copying or downloading it.

Which source files can I upload?

Yes. This page includes a source file picker; some modes may also use text or settings entered in separate fields.

Which formats does the upload accept?

The file picker accepts: .json, application/json. Choose a matching file; the page will report a format mismatch if it cannot process it.

How can I use the finished result?

After reviewing the output, use the transfer method available on this page. If it is selectable text, you can select and copy it with the browser.

How do I save the result to my device?

This function does not provide a separate download action. Copy the result if it is text, or use the save option shown for the selected mode.

Is there a data size limit?

No single numeric limit is listed for this operation. If a large file or long text makes the browser slow, reduce the input and try again.

How do I switch the interface language?

The Russian and English interface switcher is above the work area. Labels and hints update when you switch; save the result first if you need to keep it.

Can I process several files in one run?

Batch processing is available when the file picker accepts multiple files or the page explicitly describes a batch mode. Check the file count and formats before starting. Yes. Use the page’s Clear or Reset control to remove the current input and start over. Save the result first if you need to keep it.

What should I check if the operation fails?

Check required fields, accepted formats, and selected options first. If an error message appears, correct the data it identifies and run the operation again.

QUICK GUIDE

Function grapher help

Expressions

Type an expression using x or choose a preset from the adjacent list. You can edit the formula directly, and the graph updates immediately. Arithmetic, powers, parentheses, and common trigonometric, logarithmic, power, and hyperbolic functions are supported. Allowed names are listed below the graph.

Multiple graphs

In full mode, first choose a preset in the selector above the graph list, then select “Add selected function.” Add up to eight functions, change their colors, hide individual curves, or remove them. Expressions are parsed by a local safe parser and are never executed as JavaScript.

Zoom and intercepts

Drag the coordinate plane, zoom with the mouse wheel or buttons, or enter exact axis bounds in full mode. The results below show each function’s x- and y-axis intercepts.

Saving

Download a PNG image, a CSV table of plotted values, or a JSON project. Reopen a project later in this tool. Files are generated in the browser and downloaded to your device.

Modes

Simple mode keeps one function and core controls. Full mode is on by default and includes multiple graphs, view bounds, degree/radian selection, and all export options.
