LOCAL CODE OBFUSCATION
Obfuscate JavaScript and CSS
Make JavaScript harder to read with configurable obfuscation levels, or compact CSS and rename selected identifiers. Choose a light, balanced, or strong preset and adjust the transformations you need.
Paste code or open a local JavaScript or CSS file. Processing runs in your browser; source code is parsed as text, never executed, and never uploaded. Review, copy, or download the UTF-8 result.
Choose the code type and obfuscation strength
Strong settings can increase output size and slow down code at runtime.

Paste source code or open a local file, choose a level, then run obfuscation.
Obfuscation is not encryption and cannot prevent reverse engineering. JavaScript output is not executed here. Test transformed code in the browsers and build setup you support.
ABOUT THIS TOOL
JavaScript and CSS obfuscation features
Make client-side code less readable and compact CSS without sending source files to a server. Obfuscation can make debugging harder, but it does not guarantee that code cannot be recovered.
- JavaScript: rename local identifiers, encode string literals, split long strings, flatten control flow, and optionally convert syntax to ES5.
- CSS: compact stylesheet syntax, remove regular comments, and optionally rename custom properties or keyframes used by animation declarations in this file.
- Paste code or open a UTF-8 / Windows-1251 local file up to 1 MB. Cyrillic and English text are preserved.
- Review output in the result pane, copy it, or download a .js or .css file.
- Local Web Worker processing. Source files are not executed, transmitted, or stored by this tool.
Before using the result
Strong obfuscation can reduce performance, increase file size, or affect compatibility. Always test the output.
